Q Christian Fellowship has created this Support Group to provide a supportive community to gather and share life experiences of being an LGBTQ+ person with non-affirming parents. This support group acts as a safe, conversational space with others to process the feelings and potential obstacles individuals may experience in being out as an LGBTQ+ Christian.

Transgender/Gender Expansive Identities

The Trans and Gender-Expansive Community Group provides a supportive community to gather and address questions and topics specific to those who are discerning if they should come out, are in the process of coming out, have recently come out as Trans/GE or are coming out again and aren’t sure how to deal with the differences between the first and second coming out process. This community group acts as a safe, conversational space to process the feelings and potential obstacles individuals may experience in coming out as a Trans/GEI (Gender Expansive Identities) Christian, and spends some time concentrating on what are known as the LGBTQ+ “Clobber Passages” in scripture.

Bible Study - Clobber Passages

Q Christian Fellowship has created this Clobber Passage-focused Bible Study Group to provide a supportive community to gather and address questions,topics and passages in the Bible that are used as an argument against LGBTQ+ affirmation within the context of the Christian faith. This study group is a safe, conversational space to process, wonder, and discover information about the Biblical text and its implication(s) for LGBTQ+ Christians.

Poetry Sharing Group

The Poetry Sharing Group gathers to explore the depths of our creativity through writing and sharing poetry with one another. Each session will consist of a group check-in time, a writing prompt drawn from the experiences and ideas of the group, a period of time to write, and the option to share with the group. This group offers a safe and encouraging space for members to express themselves creatively in community.

Mixed Orientation Marriage Group

This is an ongoing support group for LGBTQ folks in mixed orientation marriages or partnerships. Members from all walks of life and experiences with mixed orientation marriages meet each week to share stories and connect with one another. This group is open to anyone who has previously completed the 10-Week Guided Mixed Orientation Marriages Group. Book Study: The Last Week

Join us for an engaging and thoughtful 10-week journey through The Last Week by Marcus Borg and John Dominic Crossan. In this study, we will explore the final days of Jesus, as detailed in the Gospel of Mark, reflecting on the political and spiritual. Whether you're familiar with the text or reading it for the first time, this group offers a welcoming space for reflection, discussion, and spiritual growth. Together, we will examine the themes of justice, peace, and the Kingdom of God through the lens of historical context and personal application and implications of his actions during that pivotal time. Borg and Crossan invite us to see the Passion of Christ with fresh eyes, offering insights that challenge traditional narratives and deepen our understanding of Holy Week.
