Parent Drop-In Group

Meets year-round, designed for parents brand new to the journey

Welcome! We’re so glad that you’re thinking about joining us – or even listening in, off-video, while you consider joining us. Our group meets every Wednesday, year-round, to provide support and community for Christian parents whose child has come out to them.

The first Wednesday of each month we meet at 8 pm (EST) / 5 pm (PST) – specifically for working parents who aren’t able to join us during their workdays (all are welcome, though).

All other Wednesdays we meet at 2:30 pm (EST) / 11:30 am (PST).

Once you complete the registration form, you will receive a Google Calendar invitation with the Zoom joining info. If you have questions, feel free to reach out to me, Linda: LindaDRobertson@gmail.com.

Feel free, as well, to include any questions or concerns you might have in the comments portion of the registration form.

Wednesday Drop-In Group, or "W-Dig", is designed for any parent of an LGBTQ child (whether a young child or an older adult) who would like to come process their own feelings about the experience of having a gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans, nonbinary, questioning or queer child, and learn how to connect more deeply with them.

We all want to be close to our kids – and the good news is, no matter what your relationship with your child is like now (and even if you are currently estranged from your child), all children desperately need and want connection with their parents. And it is our job to learn how to keep those connections strong.

Every parent is welcome here, no matter how you feel or what you believe. Trust me, you'll meet compassionate, supportive parents who once felt just like you do now.

Whether you can attend every week or once in a while, come join us as we work together to learn skills that will benefit us in every relationship in our lives - not just with our kids. We believe that having an LGBTQ child, though often painful and confusing at first, is the beginning of a deeply meaningful journey, one on which you'll come to renew your belief in God's truly unconditional Love - a Love that brings the kind of true Hope that all of us need.

Who Are We?

We’re Christian parents of LGBTQ+ children just like you committed to Christ and reflecting God’s loves in the lives of our LGBTQ+ children.

What About the Bible?

What does the Bible say about being gay, bisexual, nonbinary, or trans? We have a resource that wrestles with that very question.

We Have a Guide for You!

With the help of B.T. Harman, we’ve created a free Guide for Parents of Newly Out LGBTQ+ People. We think you’ll find it encouraging!
